Sell me this pen: why we lead with your problem, not our features

The famous test

"Sell me this pen." It is the most famous question in sales — and most people get it wrong. They grab the pen and describe it: the smooth ink, the comfortable grip, the sleek design. They sell the object.

The seasoned answer is the opposite. Before selling a pen, you first understand the person: do they even use a pen, when, and what for. You cannot sell anything until you understand the buyer. A real salesperson does not push a product — they find the need and fill it. Sales is about the need, not the features.

Why this is our philosophy

It would be easy for us to hand you a list: wallet, messenger, payments, login, a site, a live channel, a DEX, and on and on. That is selling the pen. We do not want to do that.

Here is what we believe you actually need:

- You should not have to paste a 42-character address like `0x4f3a...c70` and pray every character is right. **Your name should be your address.** - You should not rent your identity — a password here, a phone number there, an email everywhere, plus a yearly fee to keep it. **You should own your name. Once. Forever. From $0.50.** - You should not juggle ten separate accounts. **One name should be your whole web3** — your wallet, your messages, your payments, your site.

Every feature we build exists to answer one of those needs. We do not lead with the feature; we lead with the problem you already feel.

The promise

So when we talk to you, we will not try to sell you the pen. We will name the thing that frustrates you and hand you the fix. If we ever just list features at you, hold us to this page.
